What, you might ask, is a fanlisting? For starters, a fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans for a particular subject (for example, an actor, a tv show... in this case it's the concept of inside jokes). It's created by an individual (in such a case, that would be moi), and it's open for fans of such a subject from all over the world to join.

Okay, I get it. But inside jokes..?

Yes, inside jokes. Did you ever have a word, a phrase, a picture, or an event that was just so hysterically funny... but only to the people who were there when it happened or was created? Like, if you told that joke to your mom, or to your online friend, or to a classmate, they wouldn't find it funny? That's because they're not in on the joke... it's a joke that only those on the inside are privy to. Wikipedia does a better job of explaining it.
